Join us this year for the annual Christmas Walk and Parade. Events start earlier in the day with a 5K Santa run followed by craft vendors in Court House Square. The tree lighting will happen around dusk on the court house lawn followed by the Christmas Parade. At the conclusion of the parade many of the businesses along Madison pike from Independence Station road up to and including the Independence city building, fire house and senior will be open with fun festivities.
